Can buyers take screenshots?
No software can stop someone from photographing a screen with a second device. That is why every page carries the reader’s name: a leaked photo still says whose copy it was. In the Embershot apps, and for screenshot shortcuts on a computer, a screenshot attempt is logged with the page, device and IP address, and access is cut off.
Does every buyer need an account?
Buyers open your file from the email you send. With a verified link, anyone you give the link to confirms their email with a one-time code and reads in the browser.
Which plan do I need?
Pro is $29 a month and covers taking a script out to buyers. If a manager, agent and lawyer all need to run the same project, a Project adds multiple admins and 2,500 shares a month for $100.
Can I see how far each buyer read?
Yes, with Advanced File Tracking: $19.99 per file on Pro, included on Enterprise. It shows the page each reader reached and the time spent per page.
